​Jorge and his wife were the heart of their Wider Circle community, always first to arrive and ready to help. When Jorge lost his wife, and later his son, the community he had spent years supporting held him up in return, even helping cover funeral costs so he did not carry that weight alone.

When his vision made it unsafe to drive, members started picking him up. When a stroke weakened his face, fellow members taught him the exercises that helped them heal. Little by little, Jorge got stronger, and he never stopped giving back.
