Health Plan Veteran Terry Burke Joins Wider Circle as Chief Marketing Officer
Seasoned Healthcare Executive Brings Decades of Transformative Payer Experience
to the Role
Redwood, CA- August 11, 2020- Wider Circle, an innovative community care program working with health plans to connect neighbors for better health, today announced that Terry Burke has joined the company as chief marketing officer. He brings to the position extensive health plan experience having most recently served as vice president and segment leader of individual markets for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) for 10 years where he successfully led the business transformation and readiness efforts to prepare for historic industry change as a result of the Affordable Care Act.

In his new position, Terry will be responsible for not only amplifying visibility for Wider Circle’s potential clinical and financial impact with health plans but also driving awareness for their partnerships with health plan members who are eligible to utilize the organization’s programs as a covered medical benefit.

Prior to his executive role at BCBSM, Terry held leadership positions with Anthem, General Electric Financial Services Long-Term Care division, BlueCross BlueShield of Virginia and served major health plan clients as the chief operating officer of FineLight Marketing Communications.
