Your November: Thanks, Trivia & Taking Care of You
This month is all about the things we’re thankful for: good health, good food, and the people who make life brighter. Find what speaks to you, and we’ll see you there!

Know Your Numbers This November
November is Diabetes Awareness Month. More than 1 in 3 adults in the U.S. have prediabetes, and most don’t know it. The good news? A simple blood sugar test can tell you where you stand, and catching it early gives you time to make changes that really work.
Diabetes can affect anyone, at any age. Ask your doctor if a screening is right for you, especially if diabetes runs in your family. Call the number on the back of your ID card to check your coverage and find care near you.
Small steps like eating well, moving more, and staying connected all add up. Depending on where you live, you can join our events in person, online, or both. Our team can also help you find local resources and navigate your care.

Finding Her Circle: How Laura Learned to Care for Herself, Too
Laura is a single mom of four who was managing diabetes and high cholesterol while putting her family first, with no one to turn to for support. That changed when she started attending Wider Circle’s virtual events, where members spoke openly and she heard her own struggles in theirs.
With encouragement from her community and her Community Health Worker, Diana, Laura started walking, dancing, and eating healthier. Today her diabetes is under much better control, her doctors are impressed, and she’s inspiring her family and neighbors to take care of their health too.
Laura’s story is a reminder that managing diabetes doesn’t have to mean doing it alone.
